Mr. Poole was responsible for giving me back my life. He was fearless in the courtroom. One thing he said I will never forget: "You had a new dress to get married, now go & get a new dress for this divorce." It was a command more than a suggestion.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Poole. I will always remember you with the utmost of respect.
Thank you,
Gayle Brown

Alan and I were good friends and colleagues. We shared the same birthday and celebrated it together for many years. I regarded him as a highly ethical man. He was a loving father. I have always regarded him as a very special human being. I will remember him fondly the rest of my life. I have missed him in recent years. Rest in peace my friend.
