STEPHENS, Alan Kirkwood
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Alan Kirkwood Stephens, on August 1st, 2000, in his 75th year. He will join his life partner Beatrice. Survived by his loving children; Pat and her husband Chris Wykurz, Laurie and her husband Bob Racine, Bill and his wife Debbie, Wilma and her husband John Branigan. Much loved by his grandchildren; Justin, Mathew, Danielle, Alan, Kyle, Brady, Mikaela, Jake, Keagen and Sally. Also survived by his sister Grace Malnerich, and many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his close friends Jack Idler and Margaret, Jim and Ilona Black and Eddie Winchester. Predeceased by his brother Eoin and sisters Dorothy, Wilma and Mary. Funeral service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, on Saturday, August 5th, 2000 at 1 p.m. Cremation in the Parklawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday under the auspices of Algonquin Lodge #536 AF & AM. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 546 Lively. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday or after 12 noon Saturday.
