Albert HOLTON Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of A. John Holton, 92, of Toronto, Canada. He passed peacefully on May 26, 2024, after a long battle with COPD and a recent fight with cancer. John was born on May 31, 1931, in Northampton, England. He immigrated with his family to Toronto, Canada, in 1963 to embark on what would become a successful career in manufacturing. In 1986, his work took him to Manchester, New Hampshire, for the duration of his career. He and his wife, Norma, retired in Naples, Florida, but eventually moved back to Toronto to be with their children and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Mabel Holton; and by his beloved wife, Norma Holton (nee Page). John leaves his children, Sally and Edward (Lovell); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephanie (Simon) and Elena; and his great-granddaughter, Ophelia. An informal gathering will be held to celebrate his life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, between 4 and 6:30 p.m. at Morley Bedford Funeral Services, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
