ALBERT STRICKLER Obituary
It's Over (January 17, 1934 – September 26, 2025) This will inform all those who may be pleased, or not, to know that I have just experienced the ultimate loss - my life. I didn't want this - I liked living - even while wearing the lifelong yoke of Charcot Marie Tooth Neuropathy. I take with me those regrets that I could not reverse. But on balance, over my lifetime, I was a decent human being and a medical doctor who did more good than harm. I leave behind the Dr. Albert Strickler Scholarship in the hope that it will inspire and assist others who face life with visible physical impairments that may not be life-ending, or even life-threatening, but sure as hell are life-altering. Cremation has taken place.
