ALEXANDER GRANT (SANDY) MACLACHLAN In the veterans wing of Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto April 15, 2008. Beloved husband of Helen Ruth MacLachlan (nee Johnson); father of Nancy, Jim, and Ross; grandfather of Robert, Colin, Fiona, Laura, and Elspeth. Sandy MacLachlan was born in Kingston August 12, 1924, son of Grant and Sara MacLachlan, brother of Francis and Katharine. He was a long time resident of Kingston, former businessman and community leader. Over the years he enjoyed his involvement with St. Margaret's Church, the H.M.C.S. Huron association, the H.M.C.S. Cataraqui association, the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum, and the Clan Maclachlan society. The family will receive friends at St. Margaret's United Church in Kingston (Sir John A. Macdonald Blvd and Princess St.) on Friday April 25 and Saturday April 26 from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the church Sunday April 27, 2008 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to St. Margaret's United Church or the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum.
