Recently, I was in conversation with a good friend and shared an "ah ha" moment I had with Dinnie. She had given me advice during one of our conversations that has stayed with me, now for two decades. My memories of her are when she was married to Dr. "Bob". She was good friends with my mother in law at the time Miggsie Lawson. I remember her strawberry socials, sharing our love of horses and of course dinners at the farm with her and Bob.
While it´s been years since then and much has changed, she has been a woman whose character and conversations have stayed with me and inspired me in some important life decisions I have made. I will end with an appropriate "Thank you" for all you shared with me.
It was a pleasure.

Dinnie was a good friend for many years to my parents Ramsay and Margrie Gunton. Bob and Dinnie would often visit at our home in London and cottage at Port Ryerse Ontario. There was always a lot of laughter and good conversations.
Condolences on behalf of the Gunton family.
