Alice MacFARLANE Obituary



MacFARLANE, Alice Winnifred (nee Spencer)
died peacefully on April 15, 2006 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Murray MacFarlane and her great friend Leonard Wilkinson. Loving mother of Tom and his wife Jane, Sue and her husband Allan Brown; devoted Nana to Elliot, Myles and Thea Brown. A long time Etobicoke resident, Alice was active in the Humber Valley UCW and Kingsway Women's Club, Humber Valley Sinawik Club, Islington Golf Club and bridge groups too numerous to mention. A life long volunteer and avid reader, great traveller and expert bridge player, Alice was a cherished friend to many.
A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Saturday May 13th at 12:00 Noon at The Old Mill. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
