ALLAN ROSS MOSES (1927 ­ 2009) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, in Toronto on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Born in Toronto on August 6, 1927. He was predeceased by his father Cecil, mother Helen (nee O'Brien) and beloved wife Marjorie (nee Spencer). He is survived by his sister Sally (Sutherland) of Nova Scotia, sons John (Linda Stevens) of Toronto, James (Linda) of Mattawa, Jeffery (Nancy) of Victoria, B.C., daughters Josephine McDougall (Scott) of Toronto, Jane Garratt (Phil) of Toronto, daughter-in-law Wendy Moses of Bracebridge, 9 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren and his loving friend Barbara Skinner of Bracebridge. Dad had a full life and was an active member of all the communities he lived in Toronto, London and Port Carling. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME ­ A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16. A service will be held in KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Port Carling on Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.
