Allan Grant STANLEY

ALLAN GRANT STANLEY Peacefully on December 6, 2021, at 53 years of age. Beloved husband of Lynn Pacarynuk for 22 years and proud father of Blake, Mark and Graeme. Son of Carol (Ed Bissinger) and the late Warner, brother of Hilary McMahon (Colin), brother-in-law, son-in-law and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in Toronto, Allan studied mathematics and computer science at University of Toronto. He began his career in Toronto, then moved to Ottawa in 2000. Allan had a highly successful career as a senior manager in software development. His hobbies included cross country skiing, cycling, long-distance running and racing, camping, hiking, spending time with his family, reading, and reflecting on the mysteries of the universe. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his quiet strength and optimism, and most of all, for being a loving father to his three boys. Thank you to the staff at the Ottawa Hospital and Hospice Care Ottawa (Maycourt).
