ALISON BARBARA WINIFRED PUNTER It is with deep sorrow we announce Alison's passing in North Vancouver on April 29th, 2009 following a prolonged illness fought with courage and optimism. She will be greatly missed by her husband Keith Punter and their children, Derek and Victoria (Tori) as well as her parents, Barbara and Lawrie Groundwater, her brother Gordon Groundwater and his wife Anita and children Taylor, Kyle and Graeme. Alison will also be sadly missed by her parents-in-law, Dennis and Cathy Punter, their children, Jennifer Punter and Brian Punter as well as the extended Groundwater and Punter families and many friends. Alison was born in North Vancouver on July 6th, 1967 and pursued a varied career in the financial services industry. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her sparkling personality and beautiful smile. A private family Ser vice of Cremation took place on Thursday, May 7th. Friends and family are warmly invited to remember and say farewell to Alison in a Service of Remembrance at 1:00PM on Friday, May 29th at St. Andrew's and St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, 2641 Chesterfield Avenue, North Vancouver followed by a reception at the residence of Barbara and Lawrie Groundwater. Donations in lieu of flowers to World Vision Canada in Alison's memory are appreciated.
