Auntie Alma, goodbye for now. Was hoping to see you, speak with you but did not soon enough. Wished to THANK YOU for the unconditional love you gave me, your never ending warm hospitality in having me in your home from childhood on,showing me the importance of having a sense of humour in life, and the many fun summers North, at the beach, I was able to experience at your cottage with your family. These special times will be etched in my memory forever. Many tears I have shed now and like the tears I had when after you pinched my cheeks, with endearment, as a child, I know things will be okay. Because I know after here, we meet again, our souls, someday....To Uncle Harold, Michelle and family, I thank you too. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all to comfort your painful hearts and for you to find strength for every tomorrow.
Love, Lisa De Julio

I am so saddened by Auntie Alma's passing. I fondly remember her kind and gentle spirit, she always welcomed me with open arms and heart and I have many wonderful memories of her, especially at the cottage, where she lovingly welcomed and entertained family for so many years. Dear Harold and Family,

How deeply saddened I am. Alma was such a beautiful person. A wonderful mother, grandmother and wife.

I fondly remember many dinners with Alma and will always remember a wonderful celebration on New Year's Eve that she had prepared for us.

We will all miss her very much.

My prayers are with you.

Lots of love,

To all that knew her, Auntie Alma was a spark of fun when ever the occasion would occur. She always wanted everyone to share the moment when available and enjoyed it even more when the crowd was large. Never shy of hosting many a get together with friends and family, she will always be revered for her annual hosting at her house on Christmas Eve for "Vigilia" for all the clan. God will be greeting her at the gates with a big smile on his face.

Dear Harold and Family,
Words cannot express what we feel in hearts. Our relationship spans forty year ,although we haven't seen each other often you have been in our thoughts and prayers. We loved Alma as a sister and admired her many attributes as a loving wife, mother and Nonna. I still remember the wonderful cook she was and all that she taught me about 'old couuntry italian cooking". I will cherish our times together. We have lost a wonderful friend.

Dear Harold and family, words cannot express how very sad I am of the passing your beloved Alma. When I saw her last September at our dinner she looked wonderful and I prayed that she would be well. I often asked Teresa how she was doing. Even though we didn't see each other often after bowling broke up I will miss her sense of humour, she was always very kind towards me.

My prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

Love
Rosanna Cannella
