ANDRÉ HECTOR GAGNÉ

(February 27, 1935 – August 26, 2025) With great sadness the family of André Gagné announces his passing in Toronto at the age of 90. André is survived by Andrée Giguère, his loving wife of 66 years, his daughter Catherine (Jim Wallace) and sons Martin (Angélica Lara) and Matthieu, as well as his sister Marie (Bernard Billon). André is predeceased by his brothers Pierre, Jean and Jacques, and sisters Hélène, Monique and Louise. André was born in Montréal, the son of Rodrigue Gagné and Berthe St. Aubin. Following his studies at Collège Stanislas in Outremont, he obtained his engineering degree at École Polytechnique de Montréal. André made his career in the construction industry in Toronto, first with Janin Building and Civil Works Ltd. and later Jaltas Inc. A funeral Mass was held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church and interment at Mount Hope Cemetery has taken place. Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
