ANDRÉ CHARRON (1923-2011) Passed away in Montreal, on March 3, 2011 at the age of eightyseven. Beloved husband of Mrs. Louise Mongeau Charron (daughter of the late Georget L. Mongeau and the late Berthold Mongeau). He will also be sadly missed by his children André (Joanne Pelletier), Caroline (Yves Therrien), Philip (Kim Arnold), Fannie (Andrew F. Bissett) and his guardian angel late Nicolas, his grandchildren Marc-André, Christophe, Laurent, Hanna, Kyle, Lambert, Philippe and Léa, his sister-in-law Mrs. Diane McCue (nee Mongeau), his nephew Louis Bricault and nieces Marie Bricault, Marie Noël (Alain De Repentigny) and Lise Noël (Luc Paradis) as well as relatives and many friends. Mr. Charron, throughout his life, succeeded in combining a beautiful distinguished career in the financial field with a remarkable devotion to his community by the means of his many philanthropies. He was a great inspiration for several people of the business and philanthropic world. Special thanks to the personnel of the Palliatives Care Unit of the Jewish General Hospital for their devotion, also sincere thanks to his caregivers Judith, Yovila, Leifer and Jackie from Equinoxe agency for their good care and comfort as well as Mrs. Vera Petley, his daily private caretaker. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 12 noon in Saint Léon de Westmount Church, 4311 de Maisonneuve West in Westmount. The family will receive condolences at the church at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation (Alzheimer ResearchClinique de la mémoire) would be appreciated.
