ANDREA STAGER

(March 31, 1967 - March 17, 2026) It is with great sadness that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Andrea Katharine Stager on March 17, 2026, while in Tucson, Arizona. She will be deeply missed by her husband, John MacKinnon, much loved daughters Tori (Charlie Burgess) and Isabelle, her mother Beverly (Hales) Stager, sister Martha (Derek Vesey), sister-in-law Kristy Jevens (Curt), brother-in-law Tom MacKinnon (Anne) and extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Professor David Stager (2009), and in-laws, Charles and Donna MacKinnon. Her childhood growing up in the Annex neighbourhood of Toronto was enhanced with summers spent at Camp Miakonda and Camp GayVenture as a camper and staff. Cottage time on Georgian Bay and more recently on Kashe Lake was special to Andrea. After graduating from the University of Guelph in 1990, she pursued a career in HR management. Andrea loved to entertain and travel, frequently joining John on his work trips with Four Seasons. She loved Tori and Isabelle deeply and was incredibly proud of their achievements and the remarkable women they've become. Andrea loved the sunshine and warmth of Sanibel Island, Florida and since 2014, at their home in Tucson, often hosting family and friends. All those who loved Andrea will be missing her deeply in their lives now and in the future. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, April 11th from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W.
