Suddenly, on June 13, Andrew
died, leaving his close friend and
sister, Katie Gilchrist, his parents,
Peter Gilchrist and Linda
Robinson, his many loving
relatives and hundreds of
friends. A loyal friend to many,
many people. Master of improv
and all manner of trivia. Poet in
his own fashion. Organizer
extraordinaire of interesting
events. A young man who never
said no to a party or gathering of
any sort. We loved him so much
and were so very proud of him,
his career and his successes. We
reveled in his unbridled joy and
exuberance about everything he
did. We will miss him more than
he could ever have known
There will be a private family
cremation. A memorial service
celebrating Andrew's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 23 at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Koerner Hall, 273 Bloor Street West, Toronto. Andrew had been a Big
Brother (bbbst.com) and was a
big fan of Covenant House
(covenanthousetoronto.ca) so, in
lieu of flowers, donations to
either of those organizations
would be appreciated.
