Andrew PECK Obituary

Our hearts are heavy in announcing the passing of our dear son and brother, Andrew, on June 25, 2024, at the age of 52. Andrew passed peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by his immediate family, parents, Jane and Iliff Peck; his sister, Alison Peck (Glen Perry); and the members of his L'Arche Toronto family. Andrew was a kind, gentle and thoughtful man with a strong work ethic and a lively sense of humour. He lived at the L'Arche Toronto Community where he was well loved and respected. By all accounts, he was a quiet influencer with an innate skill of convening people and teaching important life lessons of love and compassion. Andrew loved music, horseback riding, dogs and games. He particularly enjoyed the company of friends, and acts of service for which he was awarded The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for Volunteering. Andrew will be sorely missed and always remembered by his extended family and his many friends. A celebration of Andrew's life is to be held at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario, on September 14, 2024, at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Andrew may be given in favour of L'Arche Toronto Homes Inc., at 186 Floyd Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4J 2J1.

So sorry to see this. I actually worked for Barlow, Peck & O'Donoghue in the 80's and remember Mr. Peck fondly.

Jane, Ileff and Alison,

Our deepest condolences.

Our hearts are with you as you move through this difficult time. Andrew´s spirit, humour and strength are as powerful in memory as they were in life. He was an amazing man - with an equally amazing family. May he rest in peace.

Jane, Iliff and family:
We are thinking of you at this difficult time and offer our heartfelt sympathy on Andrew´s passing. Although we have lost touch with you, we met Andrew as a boy and remember his excitement about a puppy. We know how painful your loss is as we lost our son Jason to a malignant melanoma last year. You will think of Andrew every day just as we remember our son and wonder why the unthinkable happened. We send our love.
