ANN DALY

(November 3, 1942 - December 27, 2025) Ann Daly passed away peacefully, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Centenary Hospital, Scarborough. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Ian Daly, in heaven. Ann was the cherished mother of Michael (Cristina), Laura (Reynald) and Gillian (Cameron); and the loving grandmother of Jacob, Benjamin and Emma. She will also be deeply missed by her brother, Alan (Carol) in Britain. Ann grew up in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to Canada to pursue a career in marketing with Olivetti. Soon after, she met a fellow Glaswegian, Ian Daly, who would become her husband - a meeting lovingly orchestrated by their parents, longtime friends at the golf club. Together, they built a happy life in Guildwood, where Ann balanced her devotion to family with part-time work in an optometry office. Ann's strong faith guided her throughout her life. She was an integral member of Guildwood Community Presbyterian Church, where her friendships provided strength, joy, and comfort through all seasons of life. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers from The Care Company and Transcare for their kindness and support. Donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Scarborough Health Network or Guildwood Community Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of Life will take place at Guildwood Community Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 17th, at 1 p.m.
