Our family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Anne Berdinsky, on November 11, 2000 at her home. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Jan, her nephew Craig and niece Lori, who always called her ;Granny and numerous other nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her dear friends Anne Poulter, David Berrey, Antonia Yoe, James Delis, Wayne Hussey, Kim, Andy and Andreas. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Joe and sisters Olga and Marie. Anne was born in Winnipeg in December 1918 and moved to Toronto in her early years. She worked for Marvel School of Beauty, where she taught hair styling until her retirement at age 70. Anne enjoyed gardening, knitting and her two best friends, her Boston Terriers Buddy and Buster. For those who knew her, she will be remembered for sitting on her verandah with a cheerful hello and a friendly wave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Humane Society. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 1:00 p.m. with one hour prior visitation at the RALPH DAY FUNERAL HOME, 180 Danforth Avenue, Toronto (east of Broadview subway station).
