Antoni Piotr GRABOWSKI

ANTONI (TONY) PIOTR GRABOWSKI, P. Eng. (August 27, 1929 - January 22, 2011) It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Antoni (Tony) Piotr Grabowski, who died peacefully in the hospital on January 22nd, 2011. Tony was a loving father to Jenny (Stefan Sibiga) and an enthusiastic grandfather to Alexa, Adrian and Katrina. He leaves behind his companion Ina, close friend Alina and many life-long friends in both Canada and Poland. Tony was a Professional Engineer who spent the majority of his career in the Provincial Government. Friends are invited to the visitation at 3:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25th at the Murray E. Newbigging Funeral Home, 733 Mount Pleasant Rd. (at Eglinton). Reception to follow at the same location. The family would like to thank all the health care providers involved in the exceptional care Tony received over the last 15 years. We are especially grateful to Drs. Seccareccia, Sridhar and Ridley, and the nurses and other staff on the palliative care floor at the Princess Margaret Hospital for their compassion.
