DR. ARTHUR JOHN BUSH MD, FRCS(C) Peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital on October 29, 2010 in his 89th year. Devoted and cherished husband of 37 years to his wife, Janet. Predeceased by his first wife Gertrude, sister Ruth, brother Wilbert, survived by his sister Phyllis. Loving father of John, David, Wilbert, Larry, Carol, Robert, and Matthew, grandfather of Justin (deceased), Tawnya, Mackenzie, Keri, Jennifer, Michael, Ryan, Chad, great grandfather of Kate and Harlow. Born in Havelock, Ontario, moved to Toronto in 1935. Served in the RCAF 1939 to 1945. Graduated from U of T Medical School in 1950 and had a large family practice for many years in the east end of Toronto. Received his fellowship in Obstetrics/Gynecology in 1965 and was on staff at Toronto East General Hospital until 1994 where he served as Chief of the Department and Associate Professor from 1983 to 1987. Proud member of Branch 13, Royal Canadian Legion. Avid hunter and fisher. Memorial to be held at St Nicholas' Church (Birchcliffe), 1512 Kingston Rd on Friday, Nov. 12 at 1 pm.
