ARTHUR CHARLES GORDON JARVIS It is with great sadness that we announce that Gord Jarvis passed away peacefully in Ottawa on August 7, 2022, at the age of 100 years. Gord was the son of the late Arthur and Yvonne Jarvis; the beloved husband of Mary Reeve (deceased) and, later, the husband of Ursula Tudor-Parker. He is survived by his 2 remaining sons, Greg (Jennifer) and Ian (Sabine); 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his late son David (Alison) and his late sister, Marie Wardrope. An honours graduate from Ridley College (1939); Queens University (1943); and Western University (1949). Gord served as a Lieutenant during WWII (1943-1945). Gord enjoyed a long management career at Canadian General Electric (1952-1984). His pastimes included skiing, golf and curling. His family would like to extend its utmost thanks and gratitude to the staff of Viva Retirement Community Residence in Ottawa for their services and care provided during the last years of his life. A private service and interment at the Woodlands Cemetery in London, Ontario will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been made with Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee.
