Passed away in his sleep in
Carleton Place, Ontario on
Thursday, May 4, 2017
Preceded in death by his
beloved wife of 44 years,
Miriam, devoted father of
Katherine and Tony and
grandfather of Jacob, brother of
Erwin and Karl, and father-in-law
to Andrew and Michèle. Arthur
was an accomplished engineer,
planner, and consultant, only
recently retired from IBI group
Memories of his gentleness and
devotion to family, his love of
animals and nature, his broad
curiosity and knowledge,
engaging stories, and playful
sense of humour will continue to
warm and sustain us for the rest
of our lives. A memorial will be
held at a later date. For more
