KLAAS, Avo, P.Eng.
Passed away at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, on Monday, August 6th, 2001. Lovingly missed by his wife Riina and mother-in-law Lehte Kevis. He will be sadly missed by his father Arvo, mother Nadia, sister Anne Mari Remmel, brother-in-law Raivo, nephews Tarmo (Kristine) and Esko and relatives in Toronto, Florida, Sweden and Estonia. The love and devotion of Avo's friends gave him strength to face his courageous battle with cancer. He will leave a great void in our lives but we take comfort recalling many wonderful memories from childhood to I.B.M. to retirement and knowing that he is resting in peace. Many thanks to Dr. S. Hanna and the nursing team on C6. Friends may call at the MURRAY E. NEWBIGGING FUNERAL HOME, 733 Mount Pleasant Road (south of Eglinton Avenue), Toronto, on Wednesday, August 8th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 383 Jarvis Street (at Carlton Street), Toronto, on Thursday, August 9th at 11 a.m. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
