COUTTS, Barbara Mabel(Sergeant, CWAC, Second World War; B.A., Glendon College, 1989).
Died suddenly, in her 77th year, with the same courage and grace that sustained her through so many battles, Barbara Coutts, dearly loved wife of the late W. Barry Coutts. Treasured mother of Ian, Sally, Jane and Sheila; fondly remembered by Catharine Lyons-King, Ian Austen, Guy Bujold and Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, and her beloved grandchildren Lisan, Adam, Timothy, Simon and Paola. Also loved by Carol Tovee, her niece, and Margaret Welch, friend for more than 70 years. Daughter of the late Pete and Kit Leman, sister of Peter, Mary and the late Ronnie. Thanks to Dr. Alan Lossing for his years of care and to the staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital ICU for their kindness and support. Service: 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 22 at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge Street, Toronto. Memorial donations to the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (Anglican Church of Canada) or East End Literacy.
