GODARD, Barbara Jane Thompson
Professor Emeritus in the Department of English at York University. Born December 24, 1941 in Toronto; died suddenly on Sunday, May 16, 2010 of complications relating to her previous battle with cancer. She is survived by son Alexis, sister Elizabeth, niece Hilary, nephew Trevor (Heather), and great-nephew Aaron. Funeral service will be held in ST. JAMES-THE-LESS CHAPEL, 635 Parliament Street, on Friday, May 21 at 11 a.m. If desired, the family invites you to make donations to Ovarian Cancer Canada.
