My heartfelt condolences to Barb´s family and Peter. I met Barb a number of years ago as her dog sitter. She loved her Tia, Remy and Chloe and they loved her. Barb became a friend. She was kind, thoughtful, always willing to offer help and advice and was fun to be around. I will miss her. Rest in peace, Barb.

The way we meet was out of script from the movie's. We met at humber College. I was in the hallway when you ran behind me. You wanted to hide from your boyfriend. I looked at you and said "what the". You told me that he wanted to hurt you. You said "hide me " I did. From then on we became friends. That was September 1981. From that day we shared many times. Your two marriages. Ashley's birth. Your father's passing. You told everyone that I was your in-between boyfriend. We enjoy many times. You are my little sister.

Barb was initially my client but quickly become my Dear friend. I feel very fortunate to have shared such wonderful moments with both her and Peter in her beautiful home or out on our sail boat. She was so thoughtful, kind and so much fun to be around. Her spirit will be dearly missed by many I am sure. I will look forward to the day we can all reunite but until then, I will carry her memory with me.
With heartfelt sympathy and love, Teresa (husband - as she would call me)

We had the pleasure of knowing "Barb Kirby" (nee Kelln) who was a successful realtor for over 30 years. Barb was also an amazing cook who loved to entertain. She was a gracious host (with the assistance of Peter), and we were fortunate enough to have attended many of her dinners and parties in her home. We laughed, danced, sang, and lived life like nobody was watching. She always made us feel welcome. Most importantly, Barb was "our friend," and we will miss her dearly.

Barb and I started at Furture 1 Real Estate in the 1987 or so. We worked together on some deals and I always remember the laughs and the silliness we shared. It´s good to have these precious memories. RIP Barb.

My condolences to the entire family. I hadn't talked to Barb for some time but first met her back when she was starting her real estate career and she was a dynamo from day one. The loss of a loved one is hard and she'll be missed.
