BARRY HENSTOCK It is with great sadness, the Henstock family announces the death of Barry Henstock peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on October 5, 2021, in his 82nd year, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Barry was born in 1939 in Barrow-in-Furness England, to his late parents George and Annie (nee Rothwell). He married the love of his life Winifred Turner in Bury, England in 1963. They moved to Guelph, Ontario in 1969 before settling in Oakville, Ontario in 1976 where they raised their four children. As a proud graduate of Bury Grammar School, he pursued excellence in the classroom and on the soccer field. He became the youngest Chartered Accountant in England at 21, achieving the 7th highest exam mark in country. Barry enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life, with a loving family, a rewarding professional career in finance, extensive global travel, and the adventure of residing in Bellevue, WA, Laguna Niguel, CA and Naples, FL, for lengths of time. He was passionate about art, music and enjoyed spending time tending to his garden. Barry is survived by his wife, Winifred, brother David, four children Michael (Jennifer), Nicholas (Simone), Christopher (Caroline) and Sarah (Jonathan) and eleven grandchildren, Mitchell, Adelaide, Kevin, Troy, Cassidy, Sophia, Hannah, Parker, Jessica, George, and Jackson. Barry will be remembered for his love of family and friends. His boundless energy and competitive spirit will be truly missed.
