Belynda was a friend and fellow Guider for many years. She was the “Snowy Owl” of the 174th Mississauga Brownies. We had so much fun planning crafts, songs, camps and fun activities for the girls and we secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) enjoyed ourselves as much as the young ladies. We shared so many laughs over the years, so many memories I will always treasure. Erick - your mom was so happy when you were born! She was so excited to bring you to meet the girls and have you attend your first “camp” - a few hours on the shores of Lake Simcoe. Gwen, your mom loved bringing you to the same Sparks camp we had taken the Brownies years earlier - she wrote to me to express her joy at being able to share that with you! Belynda, my friend, I am so saddened at your sudden and tragic passing but I’m so very glad that I did get to know you and share those fun times with you. Rest In Peace. I will think of you always and smile.

To Gwen and Erick,
In loving memory of your mom. I knew your mom from the Mississauga Figure Skating Club. I was the president before her and enjoyed serving on the board of directors with her over the years we were together there.
She was so smart, and calm and kindhearted to all so she was a joy to work with. I didn't know you, Erick but I heard a lot about your hockey teams.
I just wanted to express my condolences to you and your family in this very hard time.

Belynda was such a kind, selfless person who I had the pleasure to work side by side with for close to 20 years. Her hard work and dedication were critical to my success and I am forever grateful to her. Notwithstanding her efforts on her own successful career, Belynda was equally focused on doing everything possible to help young, upcoming people in our company reach their own potential. We all owe Belynda our deepest gratitude. My deepest condolences to Belynda’s children and family. Rest In Peace Belynda.
