ATKINSON, Betty Ann (nee Potter) R.N.
Passed away peacefully at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on Monday, November 18, 2002 at the age of 61 after a prolonged illness. Betty Ann leaves her beloved partner Dick Dueck, dear daughter Natalie Atkinson, loving mother Margaret Potter and cherished brother Garry F. Potter (Annette). Also mourning her loss is her niece Michelle Byrne and nephews David and John Potter. Lovingly remembered by Dick's children Keith Dueck, Dee Totten and her daughter Deidre and Tessa Dueck and her daughter Rebekah. Betty Ann's tireless dedication to her nursing profession will be remembered by all who knew her. The family extends their sincerest appreciation and gratitude to the caring and compassionate health care providers at the Markham Stouffville Hospital, Palliative Care Unit 1E. Friends may call at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Ave.). Interment to be held at St. Peter's Cemetery, London, Ontario on Monday at 1 p.m.
