Betty MCKENZIE Obituary
BETTY L. McKENZIE It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother Betty L. McKenzie (nee Jaquith) on April 8, 2021. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years William (Bill) McKenzie. Betty is survived by her three daughters Dale (Ben Lal), Susan (André Larose) and Tracy (Paul Roberts). Betty graduated from Peterborough Nursing School in 1953 as a Registered Nurse and practiced in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Betty was an accomplished rug hooker, chef and culinary artist. She shared her appreciation of cuisine and crafting skills to all her children. Betty was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories. Keeping with Betty's wishes there will not be a funeral service. A private family celebration will take place. Expression of remembrance to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.

The family of the late Carol Perry would like to send our sympathies to the family of "Jake". She was a long-time friend of our mother and a nursing friend as well. We loved her outgoing personality and spunk. She will be missed but forever remembered.
