Beverley BLACKSTIEN Obituary

BEVERLEY BLACKSTIEN (Collins) February 1933 - May 2022 It is with sadness that we share the passing of Bev, beloved wife to the late Bernie Blackstien, devoted mother to Gary (Tami), Susie (Mark), and Paula (Steve), cherished grandmother to Meiron, Gal (Liron), Jason, Neil, Maya (Adam), and Ilan, sister to Sheila and Anne (Dolly), and aunt, cousin and friend to many. She passed away peacefully at the age of 89, sitting in her living room surrounded by family photos and treasured belongings. Despite her recent failing health, she was able to enjoy some quality of life, almost until the end, through support from family, friends and her dedicated and compassionate caregivers. A funeral will be held at Benjamin's Memorial Park Chapel on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (2401 Steeles Ave. W., North York) (masks and proof of vaccination are mandatory), with interment following in the Temple Sinai Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery. For remote access, refer to Benjamin's website. Memorial donations may be made to One Family Fund (www.onefamilyfund.ca) or 416-489-9687.

Beverley was truly a beautiful, warm and wonderful person. We enjoyed so many wonderful and memorable times with Beverley and Bernie in St Catharines. She was a lovely woman in every way and a good friend - may her memory be a blessing. Love from Ann, Martin and Cathy, Vivienne and Ralph, and Terri and Ian

Beverley a true lady, a personality, charming, elegant and beautiful will be sadly missed. I was blessed to meet her, she was easy to talk to and she left a lasting impression on me.
My heart goes out to Suzie, Paula, Gary and all the family.
