Beverley Ida Fedoroff (Hill) Bev passed away on October 16, 2015 while in the ICU of the Civic Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario. Beverley is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Paul; her parents, William and Jackie Hill of Lindsey, Ontario; her brother, George Hill (Darlene); her brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrey Fedoroff (Andrea), Marina Fedoroff (Jim), Michael (Kristi); nieces, Lucy Fedoroff, Katherine Fedoroff, Amanda Hill; and nephews, Paul Fedoroff, Brad and Evan Hill. Bev was born December 19, 1964 and was very proud to grow up in Saint Field, Ontario. Bev cherished and was cherished by her family and many dear friends. People were drawn to Bev's infectious and devilish sense of fun and her warm caring heart. She started her professional life as a hair dresser moving on to becoming a psychiatric nurse, practicing at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital where she met her future husband, Paul, a psychiatrist. Bev and Paul then began what would be a wonderful life together. Bev created a beautiful home in Ottawa and she was hostess to many wonderful parties there. In Bev's house, Christmas wasn't Christmas without at least three trees! Following Bev's successful battle with breast cancer in her late thirties Bev and Paul spent a great deal of time travelling the world together and Bev threw her seemingly boundless energy into supporting Paul in his research and practice. Then, Bev, who was always up for a new challenge, was admitted to the University of Ottawa Law School just prior to turning 50. She completed her first year, enjoying life as a mature student and of course making many new friends. Bev gave the best hugs you can imagine, never met a pair of four inch heels she didn't love and lit up a room with her smile. She packed her too short life full of love, laughter, family, adventure and caring friendships. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family and especially her husband, Paul would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff of the ICU at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa for their devoted care.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th at Low & Low Funeral Home (1763 Reach St, Port Perry, Ontario) at 3:00 p.m. A celebration of Beverley's life will be held in Ottawa (34 Rideauview Terrace) on Saturday, November 7th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. A memorial will be held at a later date in Saskatoon, SK.
