William Ornstein
(1918 - 2017)
Sweet Sweet Bill (aka Middle
Willie) passed away on March 25,
2017, just shy of 99. He was a
scholar, lover and hoarder of
books, music and electronic
equipment. Oldest member of
the Pointe Claire YMCA
Passionate about spicy food
Interested in everything. A great
teacher and a lifelong learner. He
was happy and loved his life, his
family and friends. He will be
much missed by his wife, Ruth;
children, Neil and Melanie and
their spouses, Lisa and Doug;
grandchildren, Erin, Ben, Rachel,
Mathew and Evan; stepchildren,
Carolyn and Ivan, and their
spouses, Larry and Terri. If you
would like to make a donation in
Bill's memory, please do so to
the Canadian Cancer Society or
The Jewish General Hospital in
Montreal.
