(March 27, 1952 - January 4, 2026) With heavy hearts, we share that William "Brian" Blair passed away, peacefully at home, at 73 years of age. His creativity, passion, determination, and sensitivity were unmistakable to anyone who knew him. Brian was born March 27, 1952, to Desmond and Patricia Blair, the eldest of three boys and one girl. He was raised in Scarborough at a time when Cedarbrae was mostly fields. He studied photography at Ryerson (TMU) and graduated in 1978 from Ontario College of Art (OCAD U) on scholarship in the experimental arts. Teaching there, he met Drina, the love of his life, with whom he had three sons, Hunter, Brendan, and Francis. He spent 35 years building TPM Communications, which would become a fully integrated media, communications and events company. After retiring, he returned to art, his true passion, working in photography, painting, multi-media compositions, and sculpture. His work, as well as links to his books, can be viewed at his website,
brianblairvisuals.com. His siblings, Anne (Keith), John (Leslie), and Drew; his wife and sons, his cousins, his 12 nieces and nephews and their families, as well as countless friends and associates, will dearly hold his memory. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto, ON M4H 1B6, Phone: 416-423-1000). Online condolences and directions may be found at
