Peacefully at home, at Dunrobin, Ontario, on Saturday, October 17, 1998, aged 82 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Sellers). Dear father of Brian (Kate), Deborah Shields (Dr. Christopher) of Kentucky, Peter of Vancouver and Barry (Dana) of Oakville, Ontario. Cherished Papa of Graham, Eric; Lisa, Karen; and Brian. Predeceased by one brother Thomas. Private family funeral arrangements. A special tribute for Chief Justice Dickson will be held on Monday, November 2nd, 1998, at the Supreme Court of Canada, followed by a public Memorial Service at Christ Church Cathedral, Sparks Street, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to the charities of their choice.
