I don't ever approach a celebrity as my perception is that their private life/time is their own. One day after his wonderful show had been cancelled, while shopping for produce in Bloor West Village I walked past Brian at the same grocer and whispered "I miss you". He said "what". I did not respond but our eyes met and he immediately recognized what I meant and he teared up. We with continued with our day.
