My memories of Bruce go back a few decades to when our boys were little. Nothing was sweeter on a winter evening at the farm than the company of Bruce, Margo and the boys. Walks, talks, great food and laughs, Bruce was fun, thoughtful and a great conversationalist. I still thank him for the best bottle of wine I've ever tasted that he generously shared from his extensive cellar. Here's to you Bruce and a life well lived but gone too soon.

I have always remembered the way Bruce extended a helping hand to welcome me in Toronto. I was pretty much on my own, and a bit of a lost soul, dealing with the Canadian winter. Bruce was supportive and thoughtful. He took me cross country skiing (I had never seen snow), introduced me to a famous ice hockey player (I had no idea) and most of all, he gave me a job. I was terrible at it, but Bruce was so kind. I have always thought of him as family. My deep condolences.

Sending love and light,
Lara McKinley, Melbourne, Australia.

One of the best, gone and my life is emptier now but I, and many, many others, I'm sure, have great memories of Derbie and his family. He was always cheerful and great company. He was a great athlete, sportsman and competitor and we shared many happy hours on the slopes together. He will be missed but never forgotten. RIP 'ole mate. Paul Mckinley from Aussie.
