COX, Bruce
In Owen Sound on Sunday, February 13, 2005 in his 73rd year. Bruce Lorne Cox, the dear husband and friend of Lynne Cox (nee Butter). The loving father of David and his wife Rachel Edwards of Toronto, Peter and his wife Maggie of Richmond, Indiana, and Christine and her husband Erik Norman of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Loved grandfather of Bronwen, Bryn, Caroline, Jennifer, Catherine and Heather. Son-in- law of Laurene Tackaberry. Brother-in-law of Kay (Mrs. David Chambers) of Penetanguishene. Dear uncle of Lori and Mary. Predeceased by his parents Charles Cox and his wife Marion. Bruce was a former principal in North York, he also taught at O.S.C.V.I. and he was raised in the Meaford area. In keeping with Bruce's wishes, a private family service has been held. A graveside service will be held in Mount Pleasant Cemetery (Georgian Bluffs) on Saturday, June 11, 2005. Reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Bruce Trail Association, the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Library, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
