Passed away peacefully at his home in Toronto surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, after an arduous battle with Young Onset Alzheimer's. Born in Montreal on September 30, 1967, Bruce is the dearly beloved son of Frances Schanfield and the late Allan Freedman z"l. He is survived by his treasured spouse, Katie and precious daughter, Daisy. He is also survived by his brother, Glen; as well as nephews, Ryan (Saliha), Logan, and Zachary (Emily); and their mother, Shari Caplan. He will be remembered by many adored aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bruce was predeceased by his father, Allan Freedman z"l, and his brother, David Freedman z"l (Shari Caplan). A service to honour his life and memory was held at Benjamin's Memorial Chapel (Steeles) on Monday, December 2nd at 12 p.m., and will be officiated by Rabbi Michael Dolgin from Temple Sinai Congregation Toronto. Shiva will be observed in the family home. It is requested that in lieu of gifts or flowers, any donations be made in Bruce's memory to the Toronto Memory Program Fund for Education
