I was a little kid neighbor on Alderbrook, he was much older and so kind to me. I just knew Bruce for a short time but I have such fond memories. Thank you Bruce.

It is April, 2021 and I just learned that Bruce passed away some months ago. Bruce and I were childhood friends in the Beach. His and my parents were very close friends, and our two families spent many happy times together when we were growing up. I remember Bruce as a very warm, gentle kind-hearted person, which I am sure he continued to be when he grew up. I express my sympathy to Bruce’s family in the loss of someone so dear to them. With kind regards, John Budd

I knew Bruce during his days at Price Waterhouse ( subsequently PwC ) and we worked on several clients together . Bruce was the consummate professional and always wanted to learn what he could do better . He was determined to always do the best job he could . We remained sporadically in touch but consistently enjoyed the times when we connected with each other . He was a good colleague and always a fun and positive person to have around . Those of us who knew him will relish our fond memories .

In the early 80's, when we were both at Wood Gundy, Bruce introduced me to my future husband, George Moad. They were both JCI Senators and members of the Toronto Junior Board of Trade. George always spoke highly of Bruce and they kept up their friendship over the years. Some time ago George was very distressed when repeatedly he was unable to interact with Bruce; George died in October 2019.
