Bruce VANCE Obituary
VANCE, Bruce Thomas George
At home in Toronto on Wednesday, November 20, 2002. Bruce leaves his devoted wife Patricia Humphreys Vance and dear sons Kevin and Harry. Retired English consultant with the former Toronto Board of Education, textbook editor and book lover. Bruce wishes no formal observance of his passing, but a memorial plaque will be placed on a bench at his beloved English Bay in Vancouver. Thank you to the angels who sang him to his rest: Father David Brinton, Kelly McQuigan, Dr. David Payne, Lori Kerr, Mary Barrett, Mark Balfe, Dr. Russell Goldman and Karen Power. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Vic Library, c/o Victoria University, 73 Queen's Park Crescent, Toronto M5S 1K7.
