Caird WILSON Obituary
WILSON, Caird
Passed away at her home in Florida on January 10, 2010. Caird was the daughter of the late Florence Catherine Evely (née Forrest) and the late Hugh S.C. Wilson. She graduated from Havergal College in 1960 and entered Huron College at the University of Western Ontario from whence she graduated in 1964. Caird taught public school for a short time, then moved to sales management and training with IBM and AES when Word Processing was in its infancy. She later ran her own Word Processing service in Ottawa aptly named The Talking Typewriter. Caird's passion was horses and for many years she operated the boarding/breeding facilities established by her mother in Schomberg, Ontario. She volunteered at the Royal Winter Fair and was a long standing member of the Toronto and North York Hunt. Caird leaves her cousins, a wide circle of friends, and her beloved lab Munchkin to mourn her passing. Her warm smile, generosity and fierce sense of humour will be dearly missed. A Funeral and Interment will take place in the spring. Memorial Donations may be made to the Havergal College Foundation or the Huron College Foundation (UWO). 'God forbid that I should go to any Heaven in which there are no horses.'
