Waaseyaa Giizhigo Kwe (Bright Sky Woman) July 8, 1986 – December 20, 2024 It is with deep sorrow that we, the Sillaby and Smith families, share the loss of our loved one, Caitlyn Elizabeth Grace. Daughter of Dawn Sillaby-Smith and her father, Vincent Smith (Jan). Granddaughter of Grace Heimbecker (late Ron Heimbecker). Granddaughter of the late Harry and Marion Sillaby. Mother of Biinizi Nila and Biidaasige (Daniel Dakota). Sister of Dakota Smith (Kayla). Niece of Doreen (late), Diane, Jocelyn, Kerry (late), Daryl (late), Wendy (Steve), Denise (late), Harry (Nancy), and Tracey. Aunt to Nevaeh, Dakota Jr., Aubree, Makoonz. Great-Aunt to Ezra, and will be missed by many cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Egypt Hall, 6756 Smith Blvd., Sutton West, ON. Flowers accepted at 34 West Street, Sutton West, ON L0E 1R0.

Want to offer my sincere condolences to her family. I remember talking to her a couple weeks ago for a job opportunity and really enjoyed talking to her and was looking forward to working with her. She really loved her people and advocated for them. I am very saddened to hear this news. She will be greatly missed and all of the wonderful work she has done in the community will always be remembered.
