CANDACE DOWNEY It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Candace (Dacie) Downey on December 4, 2021. She died peacefully in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Candace was born in 1944 in Pembroke, Ontario. She spent many years in Toronto before moving to Vancouver to be close to her children. She is predeceased by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. W.L. Higginson, and husband, Donn Downey. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, Jonathan (Lyssa) and Kim (Terry); her beloved grandchildren, Isaac and Amelia, and a great many friends and extended family members. Her warmth, kindness and bright laughter will remain forever in our hearts. At Candace's request, there will be no service at this time.
