Carol JANSON

Born in Kirkland Lake, January 29, 1948, died July 12, 2024, at The Ottawa Hospital, surrounded by family and holding the hand of her loving husband of 54 years, Andris. Cheerful, feisty and full of zingers until the very end, she relished traipsing through nature and exploring the world with the people she loved. Survived by husband, Andris; children, Katherine, Rob and Chris; and their spouses, Ben, Charlie and Erica. Daughter to Ruth and Eric; sister, to Anne, Rob, John and Paul, and Oma; to impossibly tall grandchildren, Leah, Hunter, Will, Samantha, Henry and Lauren. Carol was a healthy, vibrant and joyful person with dear friends of many decades. Cremation has taken place. No service at her request. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to The Ottawa Hospital, where Carol was a valued volunteer for more than 10 years. We love you, Mom.
