CAROL LOWE Obituary

Carol Lowe, (nee Clinger), 85, from Georgetown, ON, died May 1, 2025, in Toronto, after a battle with dementia. Carol was born in 1940, in London, ON, to Mary and Marshall Clinger. She married Alfred Lowe in 1958, who predeceased her in 2010. They have three boys, Doug (Susan), Dave (Patrice) and Steve (Carolyn); and two cherished grandchildren, Grace and Ethan. She loved her husband Al, cats, photography, the Arizona desert, her family and horses, approximately in that order. She loved to eat, but not to cook. She hated her middle name. She loved to smile and had a rather endearing cackle. If you were fortunate enough to hear it, you'll recall what we're talking about. The family would like to acknowledge the incredible staff at Briton House, where Mom spent the last five years. They are all kind, supportive and infinitely patient. There will be a celebration with immediate family in the near future. With much love, we bid you adieu and au revoir, Carol Lee Lowe, Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society (https://alzheimer.ca) would be most welcome.

That cackle - and the crinkle of her nose and the corners of her eyes that went with it - will live in my heart forever. Sending much love to the whole family. She was a really good human and the world is less bright without her in it.
