Carol's hyperactive life included a love of family, friends, travel, art, tennis, music, films, writing, gardening, reading, laughter, politics, cold white wine, and feeding her ducks and many friends on her deck on the St. Lawrence. Berne was steadfast in his role as her gopher/ chauffeur.
The family would like to thank the caring nurses and doctors in the ICU and NACU at the Ottawa Civic Hospital.

We are all shocked by this loss and to quote a dear old friend, 'We always regarded Carol as somehow not subject to the normal laws of nature, she wrote her own rules'.
