Celia FRANCA Obituary



FRANCA, Celia C.C., O.Ont.
Founder, National Ballet of Canada Co-founder, National Ballet School Co-Artistic Director, The School of Dance, Ottawa Recipient of Many Honours and Honorary Degrees Peacefully in hospital in Ottawa on Monday, February 19, 2007 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late James Morton. At Celia's request there will be no service at this time. A Memorial Gathering will be planned at a future date. In lieu of any other acknowledgements, donations to the Celia Franca Foundation at The School of Dance, 200 Crichton Street, Ottawa, K1M 1W2, would be appreciated.
