Professor Banreti-Fuchs taught me first year psychology at Laurentian University first year. I still remember things he taught us in class. His wife worked in the library and I came to depend on her for my research. My sympathies to his family. They were a great couple. His wife was a great cook which as a starving student I appreciated.

My mother Mabel Collins worked for Dr. Banner at Psychological Services, Collegiate Inst. Board in Ottawa in the 1960s. She thought very highly of him and they kept up with cards and letters until her death in 2015 when she was in her mid 90s. He also suggested to her when I was a awkward boy at age 10 or 11 that I join the Macoun naturalist Club at the Museum in Ottawa, which I did, and which would significantly influence my childhood and later in life, and my enduring love of science and nature. He was, my mom informed us many times, a very kind and considerate man.

I was a Psych Assistant at the Glenrose during all of Charles' time there. He was a good man and a good leader for our Psychology Department. I am saddened to learn of his death.
