CHARLES COHEN LLB., QC. Surrounded by family at his bedside, Charles passed away peacefully and gracefully in his 93rd year. Charles is survived by his loving wife and life partner of 69 years, Joy; his three children, Laurence (Dara), Shari (Steven) and Devra; and Papa to Melanie, Alexandra, Zoe, and Samantha. Charles made his extended family his dear friends who included his brothers and sisters-in-law, the late Barry Spiegel and Joyce Spiegel, Stephen Posen and Robyn Kestenberg, David and Susan Posen, Karen and Morris Davidman. He is remembered with great fondness and admiration by his many nieces and nephews. Charles will be mostly remembered for his passion of the practice of law and for his love of skiing. Predeceased by his father, the late Maxwell Cohen; his late mother, Pauline (Gollant); his late brother, Arnold; and his late twin, Ronald Cohen. The family would like to say thank you with tremendous gratitude to his care giver Hermi Prado and the numerous nurses and physiotherapists, as well as Dr. Krajewski and Dr. Baker at Humber River Hospital. Your devotion to care was evident in the time you all gave to our father and husband. A graveside service will be held at Holy Blossom Memorial Park, 66 Brimley Road (south of Eglinton) on Thursday, June 2nd at 12:30 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory to Humber River Hospital Foundation 416-242-1000
